- 1 / 5By Christine MarksI went to Luz's back when they were downtown. The Spanish rice tasted like they used pizza sauce. The meat had no flavor. Pretty much everything had no flavor. I grew up in a Latin American household and this food that claimed to be authentic but wasn't, was pretty offensive. This is giving the locals the wrong idea of what authentic Latin American cuisine is, and I find it really sad. I'm just going to continue consuming the authentic food that comes out of my own kitchen.August 17, 2016
